On Tuesday, a jury found reality Television couple Todd and Julie Chrisley guilty of Fraud. The charges included a tax invasion scheme that occurred for years. The couple is most known for their reality Television series on the USA Network “Chrisley Knows Best”. They were indicted back in 2019 on charges of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and wire fraud. The couple was accused of providing fake documents to request bank loans as well as using a production company in order to hide their income from the IRS. The Chrisleys agreed to a settlement with Georgia’s Department of Revenue back in 2019 to avoid charges. In the settlement they ended up paying a $147,944.75 fine. The Chrisleys Attorney responded to The Associated Press saying that him and his clients expect to appeal. Even though they are facing all of this legal trouble the USA Network decided to renew the couples reality series for its tenth season of the show.
