The Junos are occurring April 3 in Calgary, Alberta, and many big Canadian stars will be at the event. This award show is commonly compared to the Grammys in America, so this is a very huge deal in the music industry.
While the majority of the awards are based around pop music, the rock industry does have two specific awards. As you probably can guess, they are the Adult Alternative Album of the Year and the Alternative Album of the Year awards. One artist not found on either, but up for a Juno is Three Days Grace. This band didn’t crack the nomination list for either of the two awards listed above, but found themselves a possible winner for the Group of the Year.
