This Fourth of July was a special one for those at the White House. President Obama, his family, and others all celebrated the holiday with Kendrick Lamar and Janelle Monae in the building. These two performed for the President and others, most specifically military families, a tradition at the White House.
What a great moment it was, being able to bring some joy to those who are in the military and their families enjoy a great concert and some fireworks.
These two artists have history with the President, as Monae was a guest of his back in May for the White House State dinner and Lamar was picked as the winner of a hypothetical rap battle between him and Drake.
