Joe Jonas admits during a recent interview, that the rift that occurred between him and his brothers, reached a point where they would only communicate through their father. He added that the break the brothers took was much needed and that, “We needed it creatively, We needed it emotionally … probably therapy.”
Kevin then added, “We didn’t want the band to end when it did, but we all really needed that time. The Band-Aid had needed to be ripped off.”
Joe also pointed out how their father, Paul Jonas Sr. concern was always, “Just like any parent would want, you want your kids to just get along.”
Since the band got together again in 2019, they have managed to land their first number one on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Sucker,” and in other news have just received their very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. During the January 30th ceremony, the Jonas Brothers announced their upcoming sixth studio album, The Album, that is set for release on May 5th, through Republic Records.
