Jon Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams Cancel Shows After Positive COVID Tests

Sunday night was an evening of missed entertainment, as both Jon Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams were forced to cancel separate live appearances after testing positive for COVID-19.

Adams had to step down from his part in the 2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, replaced by Keith Urban at the last second, and Bon Jovi had to let down a venue full of fans as he was unable to be present at the sold-out night of his concert. Tickets to the Bon Jovi event, reportedly, cost more than $2k a person as his Halloween Weekend Getaway was meant to include a costume party, a photo opp with the singer, limited-edition goodies, and access to his “intimate acoustic storyteller performance and Q&A.”

Representatives for both music legends confirmed that they were vaccinated and doing well and that canceling their performances was an act of caution.
