JoJo Siwa is speaking candidly about love, self-discovery, and an unexpected breakup following her stint on Celebrity Big Brother. Appearing on This Morning alongside fellow housemate Chris Hughes, the 21-year-old performer addressed the emotional fallout from ending her relationship with influencer Kath Ebbs at the show’s wrap party.
Siwa admitted the split wasn’t premeditated but rather triggered by an honest conversation. “They asked if I was happy, and I said no,” she explained. “It wasn’t planned, but it was necessary.”
The singer and dancer, who sparked speculation over her flirty dynamic with Hughes during the show, clarified their bond remains platonic—describing it as a “soulmate friendship.” Hughes echoed the sentiment: “It’s not a typical friendship, but it’s one rooted in deep support.”
Reflecting on her time in the house, Siwa said the experience forced her to confront truths she’d been ignoring. “I sat with myself and realized there were so many things I was pretending were fine, and they weren’t,” she shared.
Now, Siwa says she’s focused on healing, growth, and gratitude. As for the future of her connection with Hughes? “Whatever life does, life will do,” she teased.
