Joey Bada$$ Releasing Highly Anticipated Album

According to hiphopdx.com, Joey Bada$$ is releasing his latest album, 2000, on Friday, July 22nd, and the rapper ha sjust released the project’s cover art and track list on Twitter. The sequel to the rappers 1999 mixtape will have 14 tracks, and feature Diddy, Westside Gunn, Larry June, Chris Brown, JID and Capella Grey. This will be the first solo album since All-Amerikkkan Bada$$ in 2017 for the artist, the release date was ultimately set back by more than a month due to clearance issues. It was speculated by fans that he did not want to compete with Drake’s release, however, Joey Bada$$ clarified in statement, “Y’all thinking I pushed my album back because drake is comedy, Can’t say I ain’t happy tho hahaha. I found out I had to push my shit back a week ago. Only reason I waited to last minute to say something was because I was hoping to get a new date for y’all instead of just leaving y’all hanging but I’m still not in the clear yet.” Fans can finally rest, with the album dropping this Friday, the 22nd.
