Jimmy Kimmel Challenges Trump to Take Live Cognitive Test Against Biden

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is once again stirring the pot, this time by challenging former President Donald Trump to take a live cognitive exam on TV ahead of the 2024 Election Day. During Monday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Kimmel taunted Trump over his unwillingness to release his medical records, which has become a growing topic since Vice President Kamala Harris shared her own over the weekend.

Kimmel’s Offer to Trump
Kimmel playfully mocked Trump’s cognitive fitness during his monologue, dubbing the former president “Tannibal Lecter” and suggesting that Trump’s behavior has become more erratic by the day.

“Trump has not released his medical report, he’s not released his tax returns, his health care plan, he hasn’t released his sports bra for months,” Kimmel quipped.

Seizing on Trump’s well-known self-praise about his intellect, Kimmel then proposed a public showdown between Trump and President Biden, offering the idea of a live televised cognitive test.

“Let’s have you both take a cognitive test live on television,” Kimmel suggested.

In a direct jab at Trump’s infamous use of the word “bigly” during the 2016 campaign, Kimmel teased:

“C’mon, you’ve got a bigly brain. Your brain is the biglyest! You’ve told us that so many times.”

Kimmel’s Pay-Per-View Idea
Taking the joke further, Kimmel proposed that Trump could even monetize the event, turning it into a pay-per-view spectacle.

“I’d happily pay $49.99 to watch that!” Kimmel quipped, noting it could become Trump’s latest money-making scheme.

The Context
Kimmel’s challenge follows Kamala Harris’ recent release of her medical records, which her doctor concluded demonstrate her “resiliency” to serve as president if needed. Harris has publicly urged Trump to release his own medical report, a move the former president has yet to make.

As Trump’s reluctance to share his medical records becomes a growing talking point, Kimmel’s humorous dare adds more fuel to the conversation surrounding the former president’s transparency.
