According to sports.yahoo.com, New York Jets quarterback, Zach Wilson, returned to the field on Monday for his first workout since having arthroscopic knee surgery last month. Wilson got injured with a bone bruise and a torn meniscus in a preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles on August 12th. Undergoing surgery just a few days later, and recovering normally. Jets coach Robert Saleh said that he expects an answer later this week about if Wilson or Flacco will be starting Sunday’s game, but Wilson starting is a possibility. He continued to say that, “We’re going to see how the knee responds today and tomorrow and we’ll have an answer for everybody on Wednesday.” Although it is still unclear if Flacco will be starting on Sunday or if Wilson will be doesn’t appear to matter as either way whenever Wilson is healthy he will be playing again, according to Saleh.
