Jennifer Garner’s Pretend Cooking Show is the kind of cozy, low-stakes kitchen content that makes you feel like you’re hanging out in a friend’s home, not watching an overly curated, inauthentic cooking segment. And now, as Delish reports, Garner is making it even easier to binge: She’s officially bringing the Pretend Cooking Show to YouTube, so everything can live in one place.
Garner announced the news on her Instagram Stories on December 21, inviting fans to subscribe to a new YouTube channel where “all episodes, old and new” will be collected, and she teased extra-fun holiday episodes to kick things off. “If you enjoy #PretendCookingShow, you can now subscribe to our brand new @youtube channel,” Garner wrote. “Come check us out — and ❤️ thank you for watching along with our nonsense ❤️.”
Garner’s recipes feel very doable, and she’s most definitely not afraid to laugh at herself when something goes a little sideways. The show’s archive is filled with delicious-sounding dishes like pumpkin maple muffins, sweet potato and black bean chili, and even Julia Child approved fare like beef bourguignon.
In what must have felt like a “pinch me” moment, Garner has cooked alongside the ultimate culinary queen, Ina Garten, on the Pretend Cooking Show, which is pretty iconic in its own right. She’s also pulled her mom, Patricia Ann, into episodes, including one where they made her chicken enchiladas from a much-loved family recipe.
Basically, if you’re looking for something soothing to throw on while you doomscroll just a little less—or you’re looking for a little kitchen inspiration—Garner just made that a whole lot easier.
