Jane’s Addiction Is Set To Start Recording Music Once Again

According to ultimateclassicrock.com, Jane’s Addiction Frontman Perry Farrell stated that the band is going to start recording new music in August, before their tour with the Smashing Pumpkins. In a recent interview Farrell is quoted in saying, “I’m going to be recording through August, And that will be for Porno for Pyros, for Kind Heaven Orchestra and for Jane’s Addiction.” As for Jane’s Addiction touring alongside with the Smashing Pumpkins an unexpected pairing, the frontman had this to say regarding Billy Corgan’s idea of touring together, “[H]e approached us, and what I found interesting about Billy’s offer is that we’re going to share production. So I have the ability to make a show that is as grand as his. And I like that a lot. Because there’s something unique about Billy – not only in his music, but in the fact that he puts his time into producing a show that is not just musical, but also visceral.” Fans can find the pair performing on a string of dates from October second to November 19th.
