James Harden Takes Home Biggest Honor at NBA Awards

The NBA season has been over for weeks now but it doesn’t mean that the excitement has ended. We saw the NBA Draft take place just the other day and last night the NBA Awards rewarded and recognized the very best in the league. It was a great time and a fun award show that we have enjoyed in its two years of existence.

James Harden took home the biggest award of the night, winning the MVP over LeBron James. His 30.4 points and 8.8 assists per game were just too much for people to ignore.

Ben Simmons won the Rookie of the Year award, causing a stir due to the fact that this was his second year in the NBA. He didn’t play in year one, allowing him to be eligible for this year’s award.

Other winners on the night included Victor Oladipo (Most Improved Player), Rudy Gobert (Defensive Player of the Year), Lou Williams (Sixth Man of the Year), and Dwane Casey (Coach of the Year).
