Jackson Brown the Everyman – Part One

Jackson Browne was in the news a while ago eulogizing his late fiend Glenn Fry, and we wanted to share more about his incredible life. Jackson is a Folk Rock writer and recording artist considered to be a founding member of the California Folk Rock explosion in the 70s. Here’s part one of ‘Jackson Browne the Everyman.”

Jackson initially wrote many of the songs of that era, and evolved into a musician joining the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in late 1966. Jackson’s first big single was “Doctor My Eyes” released from the self-entitled Jackson Browne album in 1972. He continued to write and perform with great success as a solo artist from then on.

He’s a man with the conscience of our land becoming an activist fighting for such causes as a nuclear free America, poverty, Farm Aid, and the US policy in South America.

“Stay” is the modern day remake of the classic Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs 50s song and pays homage to the song and era.
