Jack White is preparing to add another chapter to his solo career with the announcement of Frozen Charlotte, his seventh studio album, set for release on July 10 through Third Man Records.
The new collection arrives less than two years after No Name, the acclaimed 2024 album that reconnected White with the gritty rock-and-roll sound that helped define his career. Rather than launching a traditional promotional campaign, White once again embraced surprise and mystery by quietly making the record available for preorder before confirming its existence.
The album features 13 tracks and includes the previously released songs “G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs” and “Derecho Demonico,” both of which generated excitement among fans earlier this year. White also unveiled a new track, “Dollar Bill,” offering another preview of the upcoming release.
Recorded at Third Man Studio in Nashville, Frozen Charlotte reunites White with trusted collaborators Patrick Keeler on drums, Dominic Davis on bass, and Bobby Emmett on keyboards. The lineup has become a familiar force behind White’s recent live performances and recordings, helping shape the energetic sound that has characterized his latest work.
Early descriptions of the album point to a blend of hard-driving rock, blues influences, and the unpredictable creativity that has remained a hallmark of White’s music since his days with The White Stripes. While each track reportedly carries its own personality, the collection is expected to maintain a cohesive spirit that balances intensity with experimentation.
To support the album, White is preparing for an extensive tour that will take him across North America and Europe. The shows will give fans their first opportunity to hear material from Frozen Charlotte performed live as the guitarist continues one of the most consistently adventurous careers in modern rock.
