Wanna know what Christmas is really all about, Charlie Brown? Doughnuts!
As Delish reports, this holiday season Charlie Brown fans can snag an adorable—and delicious—collaboration between two iconic brands. The Krispy Kreme x Peanuts Collection features three all-new doughnuts inspired by the world of Peanuts, plus two returning fan favorites.
The Peanuts gang knows a thing or two about celebrating the holidays, from beloved specials like It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown to A Charlie Brown Christmas. “As we celebrate Peanuts’ 75th anniversary this year, we look to collaborate with partners like Krispy Kreme to continue that tradition for fans of all ages,” says Scott Shillet, Vice President, Global Licensing for Peanuts.
Returning this year: the Santa Belly Doughnut, filled with White Kreme and topped with chocolate-flavored buttercreme, as well as the Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut, which is an Original Glazed dipped in chocolate icing and sprinkles. Joining them are three new Peanuts doughnuts, which include:
- Snoopy Cookies & Kreme—A Snoopy-shaped doughnut filled with Cookies & Kreme, dipped in vanilla-flavored icing, and decorated with a Snoopy face.
- Charlie Brown Ornament—A shell doughnut filled with brownie batter-flavored filling, dipped in vanilla-flavored icing, and topped with a chocolate-flavored buttercream zig-zag and ornament hook.
- Christmas Wreath—An Original Glazed topped with a buttercreme-flavored green swirl, yellow nonpareil sprinkles, and a Snoopy and Woodstock sugar piece.
The Peanuts collection will be available in a custom dozen box for a limited time at participating Krispy Kreme locations nationwide.
