Hip-Hop and R&B music have had an outstanding 2017 with so many big hits and artists on the Artist 100 chart. It doesn’t end this week as we see some of the biggest names in music come from these two genres. One of those artists is Post Malone. He doesn’t want 2017 to end with the success he’s had this year. He ranks fourth on the Artist 100 this week. Coming in at 9 and 10 on the chart this week are Bruno Mars and Cardi B. No surprises there!
Kendrick Lamar has balled out in 2017 and finds himself at 14 this week. Following him is Khalid at 15. More hip-hop artists can be found at 20 and 21, which is where Lil Uzi Vert and 21 Savage are located. Lil Pump made a huge leap on the chart going from 72 to 25 this week. Rihanna finds herself just outside the top 25 this week as she can be found at the 26th position.
Other artists on the chart from these two genres include A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie (31), Travis Scott (32), The Weeknd (32), Eminem (36), Kodak Black (38), Migos (39), DJ Khaled (40), XXXTentacion (41), Drake (44), Michael Jackson (46), Gucci Mane (47), French Montana (56), Chris Brown (59), Beyonce (62), Yo Gotti (68), Future (70), Blackbear (77), Quavo (78), Young Thug (91), Childish Gambino (95) and Nicki Minaj (97).
