Highlights of Carol Burnett’s 90th Birthday Special on NBC

Comedy legend Carol Burnett recently celebrated her 90th birthday, and in honor of the occasion, NBC aired a special tribute to her on Sunday night. The two-hour program, titled “The Carol Burnett 90th Birthday Special,” featured clips from her iconic variety show “The Carol Burnett Show,” as well as appearances and performances by some of Burnett’s famous friends and fans.

The special included musical performances by Tony Bennett, Kristin Chenoweth, and Harry Connick Jr., as well as appearances by Jim Carrey, Tina Fey, and other comedians. The program also featured heartfelt tributes from some of Burnett’s former co-stars, including Vicki Lawrence and Tim Conway.

Burnett is widely regarded as one of the most influential comedians of all time, known for her trademark ear-tug and her ability to make audiences laugh with her witty humor and comedic timing. Her variety show, which aired from 1967 to 1978, won numerous Emmy Awards and helped launch the careers of several other famous comedians.

The special tribute to Burnett is a testament to her lasting impact on the entertainment industry and her enduring popularity among audiences of all ages.
