Project Runway is strutting into a new era—on a new network, with a familiar face. Season 21 of the beloved fashion competition series premieres Thursday, July 31 on Freeform, marking a fresh chapter for the franchise as it welcomes back original host Heidi Klum.
After stepping away from the show following Season 16 to co-create Amazon’s Making the Cut, Klum returns to the runway alongside long-time judge Nina Garcia and celebrity stylist Law Roach. Fan-favorite and Season 4 winner Christian Siriano also returns as mentor, bringing his signature sharp eye and no-nonsense advice to a new generation of designers.
This season, Project Runway promises high-stakes challenges, fierce fashion, and a rotating cast of guest judges, including Sofia Vergara, Zac Posen, and Nikki Glaser. The two-episode premiere kicks off at 9 p.m. ET, followed by weekly episodes airing Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET.
Moving from Bravo and Lifetime to Freeform, Project Runway will now also be available to stream on Hulu and Disney+, making it more accessible than ever for fans to follow every hemline, high heel, and hot take.
With Klum back at the helm and bold new talent on the horizon, Season 21 is shaping up to be a runway revival worth watching.
