Heat, Suns Take Series Lead on Wednesday Night

The NBA playoffs continued last night, as two teams took confident leads in their respective series.

The Miami Heat crushed the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 2 of the Eastern Semifinals, with a staggering 119-103 victory. The Heat smothered every offensive star for the 76ers last night with stifling defensive play, while also being highly effective in scoring the ball. Four different players scored at least 18 points for Miami, showcasing how effective their entire starting lineup is.

Game 3 between Miami and Philadelphia tips off on Friday, May 6th at 4 pm.

The Phoenix Suns also took a confident 2-0 lead in their series against the Dallas Mavericks in the Western semifinals. The Suns handily defeated the Mavericks, 129-109, as the Suns continue to be an offensive juggernaut. Devin Booker and Chris Paul were the stars last night for Phoenix, as both players scored more than 28 points each.

Game 3 between the Suns and the Mavericks starts at 6:30 pm on Friday, May 6th.
