Hayley Williams Unveils Bold, Fan-Curated Solo LP “Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party”

Hayley Williams, frontwoman of Paramore, has officially released her third solo album, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party—marking a daring new chapter in her musical journey. Previously available only as an unordered collection of 17 singles on her website, the tracks first appeared on streaming services as separate releases. Today’s official album rollout, now complete with a brand-new closing track titled “Parachute,” recasts the work into a cohesive narrative.

Williams embraced a uniquely DIY spirit, publishing the songs behind a password-protected webpage tied to her Good Dye Young brand. Fans were encouraged to assemble their own tracklists—some of which influenced the final official sequence.

The album spans alternative pop, trip-hop, indie rock, folk, and shoegaze—a sonic palette reflecting her growing independence and expressive range.

She released music videos for the title track and “Glum,” the latter co-directed with former Paramore bandmate Zac Farro. Physical formats—including colored vinyl and limited CDs—are set to arrive November 7 via her own imprint, Post Atlantic, and will be distributed through Secretly Distribution.

Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party stands as a bold, deeply personal testament to Williams’s evolution—revealing her as both fiercely independent and creatively fearless.
