Harry Potter Baking Kits Are Here

Reading or watching Harry Potter has always required some amount of food imagination. There’s always some form of trolley snack, Chocolate Frog, or Pumpkin Pasty, and that’s before we even get to those insane Hogwarts feasts. Half the fun is wondering what all of it would taste like in real life. But as Delish reports, now Pillsbury and Betty Crocker are putting a few of those moments into actual grocery-store form.

The new Harry Potter lineup includes ready-to-bake Pillsbury Golden Snitch Shape Cookies, with the Quidditch staple stamped into sugar cookie dough, and a Betty Crocker Chocolate Frog Truffle Kit, which comes with molds so fans can make their own version at home. No jumping frogs or collectible wizard cards, unfortunately, but probably a much calmer kitchen experience.

There’s also Betty Crocker Hogwarts House Pumpkin Cakes, complete with liners inspired by the four houses—Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff—plus Forbidden Forest Chocolate Cakes with collectible toppers tied to one of the series’ more ominous settings. And for something a little more lunchbox-friendly, Harry Potter Fruit Snacks are returning in flavors like Daring Fruit Punch, Witty Blue Raspberry, Cunning Green Apple, Loyal Lemonade, and Golden Strawberry Punch.

Fans all over the internet were abuzz with anticipation.

“My jaw is on the floor😍,” one person wrote. “chocolate frogs & pumpkin cakes yes please 🪄,” another added, while someone else kept it simple with a “yes all of them” just by looking at the boxes.

Still, one request kept popping up in the comments: Where’s the Butterbeer at?

“Hmmm side eye with the no butta beer,” one person wrote. “Butterbeerrr???!! Hellloo,” another added. Someone else said what plenty of fans were probably thinking: “Should done [a] butterbeer one.”

The demand makes sense, especially because Butterbeer is basically its own Harry Potter food group at this point. The flavor has its own season rollout with snacks like Goldfish Grahams, Keebler Fudge Stripes, Hershey’s Kisses, and SkinnyPop kettle corn. Cinnabon also got in on it with a Butterbeer-flavored Classic Roll and Chillatta, and Delish declared Coffee-Mate’s Butterbeer creamer was an absolute yes.

Of course, a Butterbeer kit could still be coming somewhere down the line. But after those comments, fans of the Wizarding World and all its treats will definitely be watching.
