Gretchen Carlson has already accomplished more than most television stars or journalists have in one lifetime; her career at Fox News was meteoric until her departure from the network citing alleged sexual harassment and lawsuit that followed.
Gretchen is now at the eye of the controversial storm again, while serving as chairwoman of the Miss America board of directors, the American pageant has begun taking steps to filter out the swimsuit and evening gown portion of the night. Has the pendulum swing too far this time? Apparently, a few of the board members have resigned over the decision to place all the judging on non-looks portions of the competition.
Gretchen Carlson was a Miss America winner in 1989 representing her home state of Minnesota.
