The O’Jays, a 70s soul group from Canton, Ohio, hit the charts with great songs like “Love Train,” “I Love Music,” “For the Love Of Money,” “Used to Be My Girl” and more. The band’s name is derived from a Cleveland DJ by the name of Eddie O’Jay, who helped expose their talent and even managed them in their early years.
The O’Jays were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. Original members Walter Williams and Eddie Levert with the O’Jays are out on tour – check em out!
