Country music icon George Strait is stepping up to help his fellow Texans in a time of need. On July 27, Strait will host an exclusive benefit concert and donor dinner in Boerne, Texas, to raise funds for families devastated by recent flooding in the Texas Hill Country.
The event, organized by Strait and the nonprofit Vaqueros del Mar, will feature performances by an all-star lineup including William Beckmann, Ray Benson, Wade Bowen, Dean Dillon, Riley Green, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Kyle Park, and Hudson Westbrook. Attendance is limited to 1,000 guests, ensuring an intimate evening of music and giving.
“The destruction and loss in our community from the recent floods is hard to wrap your head around,” Strait shared in a statement. “Our hearts and prayers are with you all.”
Proceeds will benefit the Vaqueros del Mar Texas Flood Relief Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to quickly getting aid into the hands of affected families. First responders will also be honored during the event, with complimentary tickets provided as a thank-you for their service.
Tables and tickets, starting at $1,000, are now on sale—promising an unforgettable night of country music and community support.
