Gene Simmons Faints Behind Wheel, Crashes Into Parked Car — Rocker Reports “All Is Well”

Rock legend Gene Simmons found himself in the headlines this week after reportedly losing consciousness while driving and crashing into a parked vehicle in Malibu, California. According to reports, Simmons was behind the wheel of a Lincoln Navigator on the Pacific Coast Highway when the incident occurred, veering across lanes before colliding with a stationary car.

Responding deputies noted that a medical emergency may have preceded the crash, although details have not been fully confirmed. He was transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution and later released to recover at home. In a message to fans, Simmons downplayed the event as a “slight fender bender,” adding, “I’m completely fine … All is well.”

Simmons’ wife, Shannon Tweed, commented that he had recently been prescribed new medication and may have been dehydrated — both potential factors in the episode. The timing is especially poignant, as KISS is slated to reunite for a special Las Vegas show this November following their retirement from touring in 2023. For now, Simmons seems intent on putting the crash behind him and focusing on recovery — and the upcoming reunion gigs that his fans have eagerly awaited.
