Yesterday, Garth Brooks revealed “Garth, The Ryman & You,” a more intimate-than-usual performance between Garth and fans at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on November 19th and 20th.
Earlier this week, before yesterday’s announcement of the show, Brooks expressed a nostalgic longing for being able to play more low-key, acoustic gigs like he regularly did at The Wynn in Las Vegas from 2009-2014.
“What would be fun is somehow to do a residency in Las Vegas and in Nashville,” the top-selling country artist teased during a recent live stream, alluding to his show at the Ryman Auditorium which, Brooks hopes, will be an evening of quality, not quantity.
The event will not be sold to capacity, nor will any seats with obstructed views be available. Also prohibiting photography and video, Brooks aims to create the best fan experience possible, including stories behind the songs as a conversation between himself and his audience.
