According to hiphopdx.com, Future recently was the recipient of 55 new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Future’s latest grab of gold and platinum records helped ensure that he broke one of Drake’s incredible music industry records. Prior to the RIAA’s announcement, on July 27th, Drake had seven platinum certified studio albums, which made him the most commercially successful rapper that came out of the 2010’s. However, since the announcement that Future’s sixth album and his collaboration with Juice WRLD titled, HNDRXX and WRLD On Drugs, officially became platinum, the Atlanta rapper now holds the record with eight platinum certified albums. This marks the second time that Future and Drake achieved similar feats this year, both artists debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard 200.
