This Friday brings two exciting films for movie lovers! The Batman will be hitting theaters across the nation, while Fresh will be available to watch on Hulu beginning Friday.
The Batman is the latest film that tells one of the many stories of Bruce Wayne as Batman. Starring Robert Pattinson, Colin Farrel, Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Peter Sarsgaard, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, and more, The Batman centers around the Riddler, a sadistic serial killer, who begins murdering key political figures in Gotham. Batman, the city’s dark hero, is forced to investigate the city’s hidden corruption and question his family’s involvement. Directed by Matt Reeves and rated PG-13, The Batman is Warner Bros. Pictures’ next superhero flick.
Fresh, starring Daisy Edgar-Jones, Sebastian Stan, Andrea Bang, Charlotte Le Bon, Brett Dier, Jojo T. Gibbs, and Dayo Okeniyi, follows Noa (Edgar-Jones), who meets the alluring Steve ( Stan) at a grocery store and – given her frustration with dating apps – takes a chance and gives him her number. After their first date, Noa is smitten and accepts Steve’s invitation to a romantic weekend getaway. Only to find that her new paramour has been hiding some unusual appetites. Directed by Mimi Cave, Fresh will be streaming on Hulu this Friday.
