Friday Movie Release: “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” “Nightmare Alley”

This Friday is a highly-anticipated day of movie releases. Spider-Man: No Way Home will finally be arriving to satiate antsy Marvel fans, and Nightmare Alley is a unique noir thriller that stars Bradley Cooper, Willem Dafoe, and a number of other big-name stars. 

Directed by Jon Watts, the third addition to Marvel’s Spider-Man chronicle picks up with the secret identity of the web-slinging hero having been revealed to the entire world. No Way Home finds our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man. The film stars Tom Holland, Alfred Molina, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Battalion, Tony Revolori, Jamie Foxx, J.B. Smoke, Martin Starr, Benedict Wong, and Willem Dafoe. It will be released this Friday, November 17th, nationwide. 

In Nightmare Alley, an ambitious young carny (Bradley Cooper) with a talent for manipulating people with a few well-chosen words hooks up with a female psychiatrist (Cate Blanchett) who is even more dangerous than he is. The carnival cast includes carnival worker Molly (Rooney Mara), head barker Clem (Willem Dafoe), and Ron Perlman as Bruno the Strongman. Richard Jenkins is part of the high society crowd as wealthy industrialist Ezra Grindle. The film is directed by Guillermo del Toro and will be released nationwide.
