Frankie Valli Shuts Down Concerns About His Health, Confirms He’s Not Being “Forced” to Perform

At 90 years old, Frankie Valli is still hitting the stage with his iconic band, The Four Seasons, but recent videos of his performances raised concerns among fans. After clips circulated showing Valli struggling with choreography and possibly lip-syncing, the singer responded, insisting he’s performing because he loves it—not because he’s being forced.

In a statement shared by People magazine, Valli addressed the speculation directly: “I know there’s been a lot of stuff on the internet about me lately, so I wanted to clear the air. I’m blessed to be 90 and still doing what I love. As long as I’m able and audiences want to see me, I’ll keep performing.”

Valli explained how the group’s sound remains strong after decades. “The Four Seasons’ sound has always been about layering vocals and instruments. We use our 60 years of experience so we sound like the records,” he said. “I sing, I have singers who sing, and we have great arrangements.”

Laughing off rumors, Valli added, “Nobody has ever made me do anything I didn’t want to do.”

Valli is currently on tour with shows scheduled through April 2025, and he has no plans to slow down. “I’ll keep chasing the music for as long as I can,” he said.
