If you’re a fan of Fleetwood Mac this bit of news will make your day. Fleetwood Mac announced they’re expanding the re-issue of the 1979 ‘Tusk’ double album in December. ‘Tusk’ is that really interesting album that gave the radio and music world the haunting single “Sarah” and “Think about Me.”
‘Tusk’ was not a smash like the preceding album ‘Rumors,’ but did provide that great video of the USC Marching Band joining Fleetwood Mac onstage live. The energy of the video alone makes the album memorable.
Fleetwood Mac has a long and winding story worth reading about. Here are our three favorite Fleetwood Mac reads…
‘Fleetwood Mac: The Authorized History’ by Samuel Graham (1978)
‘Fleetwood Mac’ by Steve Clarke (1984)
‘Making Rumours: The Inside Story of the Classic Fleetwood Mac Album’ by Ken Caillat and Steve Stiefel (2012)
