Five Finger Death Punch in Middle of Lawsuit

Five Finger Death Punch is a part of a lawsuit and it’s one that is somewhat surprising. Their own record label, Prospect Park, has thrown a lawsuit at them over what they say is rushing a new album release without their permission. Supposedly, they are not to work on a new album until June 5 of this year, but Prospect Park thinks that hasn’t been the case.

The record label wants them to wait so they can push last year’s album more before people lose sight of it. And they would also like them to give the label two songs for a greatest-hits album of sorts.

Rumors are that FFDP has said no to those ideas and have pushed forward with a new album. The contract between these two sides says that there must be nine months between album release and the time they start working on a new album.

This kind of lawsuit is quite interesting and both sides have been loud about where they stand on the issues at hand.
