Falling in Reverse have assembled a heavyweight rock lineup for their latest release, bringing Corey Taylor and Serj Tankian together for a collaboration that connects three distinctive corners of modern heavy music.
The band’s new song, “Joseph,” features the Slipknot frontman and System of a Down vocalist alongside Falling in Reverse leader Ronnie Radke. Remarkably, it is the first track to feature both Taylor and Tankian, making the release something of a milestone for fans who have followed the two singers across decades of rock and metal.
Musically, “Joseph” refuses to stay in one lane. The track moves from softer piano-driven passages into aggressive guitars and electronic production, allowing the performers to shift between melody and considerably heavier territory.
Taylor brings his trademark intensity to the song, while Tankian’s appearance adds another immediately recognizable vocal character. Combined with Radke’s performance, the collaboration turns the track into a meeting of three frontmen known for dramatically different approaches to heavy music.
That crossover extends to the accompanying music video. Directed by Jensen Noen, the cinematic production features all three singers. Taylor appears in his Slipknot mask during a staged battle sequence with Radke, while Tankian arrives during a more melodic section of the track.
The title also carries a personal connection to Falling in Reverse’s frontman. Joseph is Radke’s middle name, giving an otherwise straightforward song title an autobiographical detail.
“Joseph” continues a run of collaborations from Falling in Reverse following the band’s 2024 album “Popular Monster.” The group subsequently released “God Is a Weapon,” featuring Marilyn Manson, and “All My Women,” featuring country-rock artist Hardy.
Whether those songs are building toward another full-length Falling in Reverse project remains an open question. The band has not announced plans for a new album or confirmed that the recent singles will be collected on a future release.
For now, “Joseph” stands on its own as an unusually stacked collaboration, putting Radke, Taylor and Tankian together on one track and delivering a first-time pairing that heavy rock fans have never heard before.
