Even More Trade Deadline Deals

The MLB trade deadline is one of the most exciting times of the baseball season. As we’ve already seen, many teams are not afraid to make a move to improve their squad. Just last night we saw multiple deals that were fun to read about.

The Red Sox traded for Ian Kinsler late in the evening last night. He’s a .272 hitter that is known for his great glove and didn’t cost the Sox all that much. They gave up two Triple-A pitchers in return.

Lance Lynn was sent to the Yankees for Tyler Austin and Luis Rijo. The Twins have to be happy about that one. The Yankees also dealt Adam Warren to the Mariners for international spending money, which rumor has it will be spent well.

The move of the night might have come from the Braves and Reds, who were involved in a four-player deal. The Braves received power hitting Adam Duvall and gave up three prospects to get him. Duvall is struggling this year hitting just .205 but does have 15 home runs. He was an All-Star just two years ago.
