Eric Clapton is about to release a new LP – no, not a Blues album. No, not a cover or ‘Greatest Hits’ album. Eric Clapton is about to release, a Christmas album called ‘Happy Xmas.’ This holiday stocking stuffer will drop mid-October, containing the best Christmas songs ever, or at least Eric’s favorite seasonal favorites.
“White Christmas,” “Home For The Holidays,” “Away In A Manger,” “Silent Night,” “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” “For Love On Christmas Day,” and “Merry Christmas Baby” are just a few of the 14 tracks on ‘Happy Xmas.’ As it turns out, Eric is a big fan of the holiday, so it makes sense for him to dedicate time and resources to record the album. ‘Happy Xmas’ will be released October 12th, and the image of Santa Claus on the album cover was drawn by Eric himself.
