‘Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars’ Documentary News

For a few months we’ve been hearing about the Eric Clapton documentary called ’Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars’ but just this week we learn that the scheduled February 10th Showtime documentary will be on the silver screen in selected cities, initially available to moviegoers in New York and Los Angeles November 24th.

‘Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars’ will also be shown during the DOC NYC film festival November 16th for those in attendance. As you might suspect while watching a documentary, the film will deal with Eric’s drug and alcohol addiction, and the tragic death of his four-year-old son Conor in 1991.

The director Lili Fini Zanuck was given an ‘all access’ pass to Eric’s personal diary, rare footage of off-stage interviews, photos, and more. Be sure to be on the lookout for theater information on the November 24th release and make a note to watch the documentary ‘Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars’ on Showtime February 10th.
