Emma Stone Joins SNL’s Prestigious Five-Timers Club with Iconic Hosts

Emma Stone marked her fifth time hosting “Saturday Night Live” with a special celebration. Joining the elite Five-Timers Club, Stone, at 35, became its youngest member. The moment was commemorated by comedy legends Tina Fey, a former SNL cast member, and Candice Bergen of “Murphy Brown,” both members of the same club.

During the memorable segment, Bergen, the show’s first female host in 1975, humorously revealed the exclusive club’s amenities, including a women’s section with showers and a “luxurious place to cry.” Fey assisted Stone in donning her commemorative jacket, symbolizing her achievement.

Stone’s reaction was heartfelt, expressing gratitude for fulfilling a childhood dream. The segment took a comedic turn when Stone found a joint in her jacket pocket, humorously linked to Woody Harrelson, known for his cannabis advocacy. This was followed by a lighthearted jab at Harrelson’s controversial Covid-19 views when Stone pulled out a vaccination card.

Emma Stone, now a prominent figure in the SNL legacy, shared the stage with icons, solidifying her place in the show’s rich history. Her dynamic performances have made her a fan favorite and a symbol of versatility in comedy.
