On Thursday, January 12th, Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley was brought to the hospital after suffering from full cardiac arrest. It is reported that paramedics were brought to her house where they gave her CPR prior to taking her to the hospital. Epinephrine was also given to her at least one time and paramedics were able to regain a pulse before bringing her to the hospital.
It has been announced that Lisa Marie Presley has passed away at the age of 54 years old. Priscilla Presley reported her daughter’s death on Thursday evening. Her mother has stated that, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us, She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”
Lisa Marie Presley was born in Memphis, Tennessee on February first, 1986, nine months after her parents were married. She moved to Los Angeles at the age of four with her mother after her parents’ 1973 divorce. Elvis passed away just three years later, when her grandparents in 1979 and 1980 she became the sole heir and inherited her father’s Graceland residence.
In October of 1988, she married Danny Keough, who she had two children with. Her daughter Riley in 1989 and son Benjamin in 1992. After being married for just five and a half years, they divorced in May of 1994. Just a month later, she got married to Michael Jackson saying at the time, “I am very much in love with Michael, I dedicate my life to being his wife. I understand and support him, We both look forward to raising a family.” Two years later, their relationship also came to an end.
In the year 2000, Lisa Marie got engaged to musician John Oszajca, however, that ended when her and Nicolas Cage met at a birthday party for Johnny Ramone in 2000. Two years after that the pair got married before divorcing four months later. Her fourth marriage was in 2005 to Michael Lockwood, who she had twin daughters with. They eventually split in June of 2016.
As a musical artist, Lisa Marie released three albums To Whom It May Concern in 2003 , 2005’s So What and 2012’s Storm & Grace. She also oversaw the Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation, that helps homeless families and offers rent-free housing, daycare for children and other things for families in need.
