Elton john announced on Monday, November 14th via a new trailer, that he will bring Dua Lipa, Kiki Dee and Brandi Carlile onstage with him for “Elton John: Farewell From Dodger Stadium,” his final North American performance ever. The three hour long performance will be live streamed at 11 p.m. EST November, 20th on Disney+. The 50,000 fans at Dodger Stadium will only be a small amount of fans who get to watch Sir Elton as he performs one last time in North America.
Carlile collaborated with John last year, releasing “Simple Things” together. The two have long had a relationship, as Carlile hosted the 30th annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party in march.
Earlier on this year, Dua Lipa and Elton teamed up for a mashup of “Rocket Man,” “Sacrifice” and “Kiss the Bride” remixed by Pnau. Before the final concert takes place, a “Countdown to Elton Live” will occur on the livestream. A press release said that John’s famous friends would be featured, along with interviews of both Elton John and his husband, David Furnish.
