Elton John and Brandi Carlile have had a momentous weekend, marked by the premiere of their collaborative short film and a dynamic performance on Saturday Night Live (SNL).
On Friday, April 4, the duo unveiled Who Believes In Angels? Stories From The Edge Of Creation, a candid 30-minute documentary offering a behind-the-scenes look at the making of their new album, Who Believes in Angels?. The film premiered at 92NY in New York City, followed by a discussion featuring John, Carlile, longtime collaborator Bernie Taupin, and producer Andrew Watt. Fans can now access the film on YouTube.
The following evening, April 5, John and Carlile took the stage as musical guests on SNL, hosted by Jack Black. They performed two tracks from their new album: the title track, “Who Believes in Angels?”, and “Little Richard’s Bible.” Their performances were met with enthusiasm, showcasing their seamless collaboration and musical synergy.
