Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, Emeli Sandé, Snow Patrol, and Gregory Porter will be performing at a televised concert for Ukraine from the Birmingham Resorts World Arena on March 29th.
“My heart is breaking for the people of Ukraine,” said Cabello. “As refugees from Ukraine join millions of other displaced people around the globe, we all have a responsibility.”
Proceeds from the event will be going to the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian appeal that enables 15 prominent charities across the UK, including the British Red Cross, Save the Children UK, and Oxfam UK to provide food, water, shelter, and medical assistance to refugees in Ukraine and neighboring countries.
More performers are to be announced at a later date.
