Dwayne Johnson Hosts SNL and Caps Off Great Season for the Show

Dwayne Johnson hosted the season finale of Saturday Night Live just the other day and it capped off one of the best seasons in tens of years. This was the fifth time he hosted the show and honestly it may have been one of his best. He and Tom Hanks announced their running for the 2020 presidency!

Much of the season’s success was because of their skits surrounding the most recent presidential election and big names like President Donald Trump and Sean Spicer. Skits involving those two were huge for the show. Melissa McCarthy did a wonderful job imitating the latter.

The show averaged 8.3 million viewers in this the 42nd season, which is one of the best seasons for the show in the last 25 years.
