Drew Barrymore’s charming home in the Hamptons has hit the market for $8.45 million. The 49-year-old actress purchased the property, which sits on 1.7 acres in the exclusive Sagaponack village on Long Island, New York, for $5.5 million in 2019.
Originally built as a barn in 1920, the primary residence was later converted into a vacation house and has since undergone extensive renovations. Barrymore, known for her personal touch, has added many custom features to the home during her stay, according to the Robb Report.
The 6,850-square-foot home offers seven bedrooms and six full bathrooms and is located less than a mile from the Atlantic Ocean. The property is listed with Kathy Konzet of Sotheby’s International Realty – East Hampton Brokerage.
Despite the renovations, the historic house retains many authentic details, including original wood beams, floors, and open spaces. The kitchen is a standout feature, with white-painted wood, glass-fronted cabinets, stainless steel appliances, terracotta tile flooring, and an adjacent breakfast nook that opens onto a private deck.
Barrymore’s home blends modern comforts with historic charm, making it a unique and inviting retreat in one of New York’s most coveted locales.
