As the end of 2021 approaches, Spotify has again partaken in its tradition of summarizing the year through music.
According to the “Top Artists of 2021 Global” list, Drake is considered to be the top hip-hop artist to be streamed across the world.
Drake lands at number four on the list, behind Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, and BTS. Besides the late Juice WRLD at number ten, the Certified Lover Boy is the only rapper on the chart.
On Spotify’s U.S. chart, specifically, Drake sits at number one, with Taylor Swift, Juice WRLD, Kanye West, and Bad Bunny following shortly behind.
The other top artists on Spotify’s Global list include Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, J Balvin, Ariana Grande, and Olivia Rodrigo.
