Doobie Brothers and Other Hall of Fame Snubs

For some unknown reason, the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame is in Cleveland, Ohio, not New York, Detroit or Los Angeles. We don’t understand it, but it’s been there for quite some time. So, we’re just not going to question it.

The Hall celebrates the best of the best rockers who have stuck it out long enough to receive consideration. Congrats to Cheap Trick, Chicago, NWA, Steve Miller and Deep Purple, all of which recently were inducted. There are however many deserving artists are still not in.

Here is the list of obvious overlooked deserved nominees…

The Carpenters, Dire Straits, ELO, The Guess Who, The Moody Blues, Thin Lizzy, Tommy James and Shondells, Steppenwolf, and the Doobie Brothers are not yet in the Hall. The Spinners have been denied 28 years while Moody Blues have waited for 25 years with no enshrinement.

Pat Benetar, Joan Baez, the B-52s, The Cars, ELO, Duran Duran, Journey, Whitney Houston and Zombies are still awaiting the call from the Hall.
