Donald Glover has unveiled a new Childish Gambino album titled “Atavista,” which he describes as the finished version of his 2020 album “3.15.20.” The 11-track record features a new song, “Little Foot Big Foot,” with Young Nudy, accompanied by a black-and-white music video directed by Hiro Murai. The video stars Quinta Brunson, Monyett Crump, and Rob Bynes, among others.
Originally, “3.15.20” was released in an unfinished state on donaldgloverpresents.com before being taken down. It reappeared on streaming platforms a week later with new titles and guest appearances from Ariana Grande, Kadhja Bonet, 21 Savage, and Ink. “Atavista” presents polished versions of many tracks from “3.15.20.”
Glover also teased a special vinyl release featuring visuals for each song, and announced a new Childish Gambino album set for release this summer. Fans can catch Childish Gambino on tour, with dates available online.
Since “3.15.20,” Glover has been busy with various projects. His hit series “Atlanta” concluded, he executive-produced the Prime Video series “Swarm” in 2022, and his remake of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” with Maya Erskine debuted this year. Additionally, he’s set to develop a Lando Calrissian feature film.
