On Monday Night Football, the Miami Dolphins defeated the New Orleans Saints, 20-3. The Dolphins become the first team in NFL history to lose seven games in a row and also win seven games in a row within the same season.
However, last night’s win for Miami was crucial in their attempt to sneak into the playoffs with a Wild Card spot. The Dolphins now sit at 8-7 with only two games left to secure an AFC Playoff spot. Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle was the star for the Dolphins on Monday night, as he had ten catches for 92 yards and one touchdown.
On the other side, the Saints lose a crucial primetime game that sets them back drastically from getting an NFC Wild Card spot. The Saints fall to 7-8, as they wait for their starting quarterback to hopefully rejoin the team for next week’s game against the Carolina Panthers.
