Dolly Parton to Host the 2022 ACM Awards

It was just announced that Dolly Parton will be hosting the 2022 Academy of Country Music Awards. The Queen of Country had her ACM Awards hosting debut in 2000 and will now be returning to the show 20 years later.

Parton was first nominated for Top Female Vocalist in 1970, earning 10 ACM trophies ever since. She has also won three special honors from the ACM Awards, including the Cliff Stone Pioneer Award in 2007, the Jim Reeves International Award in 2009, and the Gary Haber Lifting Lives Award in 2017.

The 2022 ACM Awards will be streamed exclusively for the very first time. In past years, the show was aired on CBS in April. This year, it will be taking place on March 7th at 8 PM ET on Amazon Prime Video.

Nominees will be announced next week, and performers will be revealed at a later date.
