Country icon Dolly Parton recently appeared on The View on Tuesday, January 17th to talk about how after her Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, she got started on her first rock album. She stated, “If I’m gonna be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame I’m gonna have to do something to earn it.” Co-host Joy Behar asked if Stones singer Mick Jagger may make a cameo on his song, to which Parton replied.
“I’m doing my best to try to get him on, but I did his song anyway, I think P!nk and Brandi Carlile are going to be singing on that particular song with me.” Parton then continued to list those who are on board so far including, Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, former Journey singer Steve Perry and Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler. She has also made mention of finding the right track to sing along with Cher, stating, “That’s gonna be a big thrill, I think.”
