Dolly Parton Delays Las Vegas Residency Amid Health Challenges

Country legend Dolly Parton has announced she will postpone her “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas” residency, originally slated for December 2025 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, citing ongoing health concerns.

In a heartfelt message to fans, Parton revealed that her doctors have recommended she undergo a series of medical procedures before she can properly rehearse and perform. She wryly referred to the needed care as her “100,000-mile check-up,” clarifying that the interventions are not cosmetic in nature.

Rather than risk delivering a performance she wasn’t fully ready for, the 79-year-old icon opted to reschedule the six-show run for September 2026. Original tickets will remain valid for the new dates, and refund options will be made available for those who cannot attend.

Despite the delay, Parton emphasized she’s not stepping away from her projects. From her Nashville base, she intends to continue working on her creative endeavors while prioritizing her recovery. She reassured fans she has no plans to retire, saying she’s slowing only to return stronger.

This postponement comes after Parton missed a recent appearance at Dollywood, where she cited complications from a kidney stone and infection.
